    Hello sir.
I read your post from 2021 on HPOP you talked about early build and late build 2004. And if it has the 2003 engine but truck is 2004. My truck is a 2004 f550 6.0 with 64000 miles city truck. it is a chip truck pulling a wood chipper . I have a couple questions how to I tell if it is a early build or late build.
How do I know when it is time to replace hop or should I just go ahead and replace it.
what else would you recommend if I am pulling a wood chipper every day sir. I want this truck to last it only has 60k on it. And sence it was a city truck I sure they did the required maintenance hopefully..
Anyway have a good day man.

Sir I see you were able to decode a vin for a member. I have a 2005 F650 that I need to know more about the differential so I can possibly do a gear change.
I would be happy to pay you to tell me what the heck is in this Door tag says 6B but local dealers cannot decode the vin and a deep internet search does not reveal anything 6b

I am going to call epa and see what they say I use my truck for my business and it’s been in the shop for a month now and loosing money. TIA

Hello, my name is Robert. I'm a new user but an all-time Ford owner once I bought my first Ford at 20 after going through a few Chevys & dodges that I Always had to rebuild the top half of along with constant problems. Then I bought my first Ford, 65 Galaxie 500XL conv. I built Her block up FAST & BEAUTIFUL! For the last 25 years I have owned nothing but Fords, mostly pickups. I was hoping you could help me out about where to find out on my 2003 4.0 explorer if it's the original engine or not.I brought it in from the south & need to prove for the gov to register. I've been having a hard time dealing with this issue. Anyways I need to figure out how to find out on my 2003 explorer with a 4.0 where to find on the engine block if it's the original engine and what numbers would they be? I need to prove it. Now that the gov offices are open backed up this has to be done. I haven't seen an ID plate on the engine anywhere yet. Id Appreciate any help if possible! Thanks Robert

Thanks for all your help. I purchased the valve from ford and it is the new release without the coolant line running to it. I took the valve back out and it open and closes fine just a little soot. I cleaned it back up and reinstalled. I had a Ford technician hook up his laptop and he can open and close the valve that way. So I am just confused as to where to start next.

Thank you for the reply. I just replaced the valve. it has less than 300 miles on it is this a common problem to have a bad valve that soon?

Hi M-68 sounds like your a man I need to talk to. I bought a 2008 6.4 with 52,000 miles It had the DPF and the CAT removed. and the EGR was left in. because of IM i reinstalled the CAT and DEF. and replaced the EGR and elbow. regened and passed IMs. truck sat batteries went dead. Jumped the truck went for a ride and went to set the cruse and threw a engine light. now code 1335 and i think. The truck wants to regen but wont. I removed the EGR and it is free and clear. I can open it with the laptop so I know it is working. Any thoughts? Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
