Description:
1974 Ford F-100 4x4- Aborted Project.
This is my, ~Getting out of doing Automotive work- Gonna loose a lot of money- Sale ~
Truck and all the new & used parts to be sold together.
Massive amount of new parts and rare items collected over the past 6 years.
99.5% of the parts for the truck are there.
Title is in my name, VIN numbers match door and frame.
Located in Lincoln, NE.
I am in the process of consolidating everything together to get it out of here....
I'm done working on stuff.... It all needs to go soon.
Best offer. Cash ONLY.
360 V8, 4 speed manual, dana 21 transfer case, dana 44 front, ford 8" rear.
Truck is partially assembled and not drive able.
The cab & bed are mounted on frame, we'll probably re-mount the front clip and hood for easier transport.
- Previous owner said the engine was a rebuilt 360, old gaskets seem to agree. I never ran it, I just oiled the cylinders and spun it by hand.
- Frame was sandblasted, primed, & painted.
- Cab, cab mounts, and doors: All rust was cut out and replaced with new heavier gauge metal, cab mount received an additional layer of 1/8" plate steel all around for longevity. Cab was then seam sealed, primed & painted.
- Dr. Side bed had all the rust cut out and new panels installed, primered.
- Pass side bed, I never got to replacing metal, but I have the patch panels.
- No work was done to the front clip yet.
- Majority of the parts have been cleaned, painted- smaller parts bagged, and sorted.
- Manual steering, but the frame has been setup for the '78 and newer steering box.
- Parts to complete the 4x4x2 steering box conversion included, & Power steering pump / hoses.
All new:
- Ball joints, u joints, Warn locking hubs.
- All brake parts, brake lines, hoses, pads.
- Fuel lines, gas tank.
- Never driven, new Aluminum 5 slot rims, tires, center caps, lug nuts.
- Interior parts: carpet, insulation, stereo, used 10" subs / (new) 10" boxes, used tach
- HVAC: heater core, fan motor, hoses, valves.
- Window tint
- Windshield glass & seal.
- Door felt, & rubber seals.
- OEM back window was pulled and completely rebuilt with new felt and rubber.
- Cab side steps
- Door mirrors.
- Engine, new parts in boxes: Starter, water pump, engine overhaul gasket set, timing chain, spark plug wires, plugs, cap, rotor, etc.
- New coolant hoses throughout.
- New unused headers, mufflers, exhaust pipe, bends, & hangers.
+ So much more... To much to list.
I can e-mail an open office spreadsheet file with the list of everything I purchased.
I have all the receipts (that have also been scanned,) along with hundreds of photos from the process so far.
My hope is, that it all goes to someone with a love for the 73-79 trucks, so that they may benefit from it.
My fear is, that someone buys it to part it out for profit on ebay.
Either way it all needs to go.
Everything will be sold together.
Bring a trailer.

This was supposed to be my final restoration project, a overly built everyday / winter driver built to last.
A few years into it, the Cancer fairy dropped into my life.
The project mas stalled, and here we are.
Please understand, this is a project truck.
It is in non-running and partially assembled condition.
It will need to be trailered and various parts boxed up.
I hated working on dirty vehicles- so the majority of everything was cleaned, washed, wire brushed, and painted.
Parts were organized, tagged and bagged.
Looking for all this stuff to got to a fellow car hobbyist who has a passion for mechanical things.
I won't sell to anyone known to hoard parts or just looking for profit.
