Howdy fellers, i am in need of a steering column for my queens 69 f100 2wd a/t, she just can't handle the manual steering and since my last surgery and at least 2 more coming up, i can't drive it either, i have a p/s box and all of that but the column is the hold up.
I have a buddy that is going to help do the heavy stuff because i just can't, Man i hate accepting defeat and not having money in the bank to just do things. i also need the upper bracket that the pump bolts to for its adjustment. good thing is her truck is solid and the 360 runs out well even with the flebay carb on it and the c6 shifts well. actually the engine looks like it had been rebuilt, i could see the hone marks with my bore scope when we bought it last spring.
The ole girl ( the truck } not my wifey, was a true farm truck and when the guy quit farming in the late 80s the truck sat allot in a barn, his grandson revived it around 2011 then sold it a couple years ago to the folks we got it from. they had someone do a disc brake swap with cpp spindles and stuff,, hedders exhaust and more, so its definitely a keeper.
