For sale; 2002 F350 Lariat, Crew Cab Long Bed, 7.3L Powerstroke, 4R100 automatic, 4x4, 290,000 miles. 4” Banks turbo back exhaust.
I have done too much preventative maintenance in the last 3 years to remember everything. All the regular failures have been addressed.
A pillar gauges: EGT, coolant, boost, fuel psi, trans temp.
A few newer items I can remember:
All U joints, ball joints, water pump, power steering pump, fuel pump, radiator, all brake pads and rotors, HPOP hoses, block heater, up pipes, charge tubes, AIC boots & clamps,
A few upgrades in the last 2 years; ‘08 headlights with LED bulbs, H&H on the fuel tank, fuel bowl rebuild, pre-pump fuel filter, trip computer resistors, all drivetrain fluids replaced with Schaeffer oils in June’23, F550 suspension (doesn’t help the smooth ride much, but can carry anything you put in it) ‘08 tow mirrors.
I regularly tow a 43’ 5th wheel to Az and back. The truck has been on two major road trips with the 5th wheel in the last 3 years totaling over 12k miles without a single hiccup.
The long and short of it is, if this were a dually, I wouldn’t be selling it. I recently bought a SxS and now need to tow a second trailer. I need the better stability of the dually and the (legal) increased towing capacity of a newer truck.
