4Dtech CANopener. SKU CANOPEN1-05. This module overrides the speed control so that you may view the rear camera at any speed instead of it shutting off at the factory preset road speed.
I used this for the CHMSL camera on a 2022 XLT Premium. It worked for that camera only, not the tailgate reverse camera. Website shows it as compatible with SYNC 3 8 inch displays. Please contact 4Dtech if you have questions about vehicle compatibility. I only know what I used it on, I have no knowledge about other models.
This is plug and play behind the stereo head unit. No cutting or splicing. It operates via the truck's factory camera switch.
I paid $299 new. Receipt in the box. Used less than 2 years in the 2022 I traded in January 2024.
