Description:
** 3/5/2026 - This is still an active offering. I am still making and shipping these mounts and have only received positive feedback.
As of this posting on 11/28/23, removal of the tailgate on 2023 Super Duty pickups disables the 360 camera system. I have designed and am 3D printing this mount which allows the addition of a Ford backup camera p/n PJ7Z-19G490-B (the same as in the tailgate) mounted above the license plate which restores full camera system functionality. The camera can be ordered from a Ford dealer, on-line parts sellers, or eBay (usually best price).
This is printed with strong, UV resistant black ASA plastic.
The camera can be connected with this Fakra Z Female to Female Vehicle Antenna Extension Cable 1m coax cable from Amazon for ~$7.
Price includes shipping within the U.S.
I also have a camper mount and can design and print custom solutions if you need something different as well as help to source cameras, cables, etc.
Please verify with the dealer that the p/n PJ7Z-19G490-B camera is the correct version for your truck's VIN before ordering.
I have been using Venmo for payments under the account username of "@Glenn-Woodhouse". I can also do PayPal (username gwoodhouse40@msn.com) for an additional 3% to cover the fees. If this doesn't work for you I can work with you on other payment solutions.

Installed Per Instructions Everything Works Again
Thank you very much gwoodhouse40. I purchased camera from eBay for $176.26, Fakra cable from Amazon for $7.99, and mounting bracket with hardware from gwoodhouse40 for $45. For $229.25 my 360 camera system is working again.

So I purchased one of the brilliant camera holder from gwoodhouse40 for the back of a truck camper. However, the light on existing license plate holder is in the way and I'm not finding one with a light higher up. Anyone run across this? Could mount it upside down I guess but it would cover enough of the plate it might draw a fix it ticket. Might just mount it some where else. Seems plate lights are required in most states

Blclark, yes this design was meant to work for the Super Duty license plate location with the plate lights shining from the side.
