Very nice truck. How long have you owned it? Interesting choice of the 302 engine, do you know how many miles are on the engine? Do you know your rear axel gear ratio and what rpm the engine is turning at highway speeds. Radial or bias ply tires, how old? Sorry for all the questions but perhaps they will help you sell the truck.

Thanks.

I bought the truck as it is two years ago. Only normal maintenance has been needed. New rear brakes and a battery plus starter cable which was too worn at the ends for my liking.
I don't know how many miles are on the engine. I do know it's as quiet as a church mouse and the oil stays clean between changes. It's an easy starting engine as well with a manual choke.
Being born with a 6 cylinder, the rear axle (original 9in from what I can see) is geared high. 410/411? Not sure.
I keep it below 70mph but I don't do much highway driving in it, mainly state roads..
Tire are like new and radial also not exposed to the sun so no dry rot. Garage kept.

Very nice 61 short-box Stepside (flaresider).

I bought a similar '62 in Feb. of 2022. It came original with a small six (now missing), and the 4-speed pickup trans maybe a T98.
Of course it has a '64 grill and a home-built tailgate. hahaha
I believe my '62 has a 4:10 rear axle ratio, so not a high-speed interstate cruiser for sure. But 4:10 is a good working gearing for general purpose use.

Good luck on your sale
