2022 Chrome Alloy Wheels in Awesome Condition!
For SaleWheels and Tires/Axles
Description:
I sure love my new F250, but I am not the kind of guy who likes to keep shiny chrome wheels SHINY! So I pulled the Factory Ford custom wheels off of my truck and switched to black wheels and matching wheels for my trailer.
I have four darned near NEW chrome wheels with the caps and lug nuts, that came off of my truck. I went to Ford to ask them what it would cost, to BUY these over the counter. The invoice is attached here. $6,320.00 for a set of four, and that is without TPMS sensors or tires! Holy Cow!
I do not want these to sit here in my shop, so I will sell them to someone who wants NICE wheels for their F250. I will let the whole set go for $3,500.00, and if you are close, I will deliver them, OR we can meet half way between your home and my home here in Franklin, KY. (South of Bowling Green)
If you want these wheels on your truck, you can save over $2,800.00
Grab 'em fast, before I put them up on Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace, or any of the other sites.

You say, "These new takeoff set of tires typically sell for around $1000 to $1,500"
I am not selling tires. I am selling wheels. I would agree with you that used tires do lose value faster than political promises. I recently bought a brand new set of wheels, tires, and TPMS sensors for my F150. They are mud and snow tires for the Kentucky winters. I had MAYBE 50 miles on them from their first brief use. I paid $1,800.00 for them, and sold them for $1,000.00
These WHEELS are in perfect condition, and have not suffered wear or damage, or exposure to road salts, etc.
This full set of four new alloy wheels complete with the caps and lug nuts on FB marketplace that are listed for the price range you mentioned ... do you know for a fact that they are BRAND NEW? I understand if someone pulls wheels off of a truck a year or two after they change out to different wheels, but these came off of a brand new truck. The wheels were changed out only a few days after the truck was purchased. They are not pitted, or tarnished, or scratched. If I placed them next to brand new wheels from the factory, you would not be able to discern the difference between them.
It is rather comical, really. I say, "Use them to replace damaged wheels" and people reply, "These wheels NEVER sustain damage that requires replacement." If I say, "Replace your old, tarnished wheels with brand new wheels at a discount!" people reply, "My wheels are (n) years old and still look BRAND NEW!" Then I say, "Okay. These wheels will look beautiful for years!" and they reply, "Not unless you keep them shiny!"
It is one thing to sell a set of "used wheels." It is another thing, to "fire sale" a brand new set of wheels at a ridiculously low used price. Of course, I do know about human nature. When someone is selling a widget, it is priceless. When someone is buying that same widget, it is nothing more than a tawdry flea market trinket.

I have offered a $2,320.00 savings over walking into Ford to purchase them brand spanking new, and even that price is negotiable.
You are suggesting that I sell these for less than 20% of new cost. I would rather use them to decorate the walls of my workshop, or donate them to a charity auction and take the tax write off!
Joe
