Dana 44 3.73 limited slip differential/rear axle for '53-'72 F-100. I believe this to be a '64 originally, given the data tag. Also because of the scrawled markings, lol. Both the data tag and "Use Limited Slip Diff. Lube Only" tag are still on the axle. 5 on 5 1/2" bolt pattern. Complete drum to drum. I have not removed the cover or the drums to inspect anything, so I can't say for sure that everything is 100% solid inside, but I have no reason to believe otherwise. At the very least, the clutches are 59 years old and deserve to be retired in peace. The cover gasket is clearly deceased as well. I would highly recommend a thorough disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and refresh. Parts are available just about everywhere, Randy's Ring & Pinion/Yukon Gear being one online source. '53-'72 Dana rear axles (1/2 ton) are pretty much identical in terms of bolting in, except for minor differences in the shock mounting and routing of brake lines/e-brake cables.
Asking $250. Axle is located in Central Illinois near Peoria. I can't/won't ship, but would be willing to take it to a local shipper if you made the arrangements.

I am interested in the drive in your post but I would have to contact a shipper since I live in Washington state. Thanks
