 We have a few too many projects so we are trying to sell this truck to make some room. It is at a point where with a little more work it can be used as is or take it to another level. It is a good solid starting point for whatever direction you want to take it. Here’s your chance to own one of the most desirable Ford trucks, a rare 1955 F100 panel truck. It comes with what we believe to be the original 223 cubic inch Mileage Maker in-line 6 cylinder engine. This truck was originally from California before it was brought to the east coast when my brother in law bought it. It has been garage kept the whole time. The truck does turn over and run, we did not run it long as the fuel tank and lines need to be flushed out. Engine bay has been cleaned up and refinished. Recently installed parts include new steering wheel, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, spark plug wire set, heater hoses, radiator hoses, radiator cap, water pump, thermostat and heater hose fittings. A new set of points, condenser and cap also come with vehicle. This truck has a good solid foundation to restore to stock or customize. Excellent doors, all fender panels and floors are rust free, roof and drip rail area, solid frame with surface rust only. The front floor is solid, rear section has a temporary sheet of plywood where the wood planks go. Please note it is only painted in primer red, it is shiny from being washed and still wet. Do not expect a nice red paint job! The entire floor area has been covered with a one-piece black carpet cut to fit. Rear doors have new tinted glass panels and rubber gaskets installed. The odometer reads 13,609 miles but true mileage is unknown. Truck comes with extra drum brake parts, miscellaneous trim pieces, new weather-stripping, spare instrument cluster, original emblems, mirrors and door handles, new clutch plate etc.
