I have a 1986 FORD E150 Cargo Van. It has 4.9, 6 Cyl with 1 bbl Carter YFA carburetor. I also have an extra USA core to rebuild. The Egr has been messed with some, in trying to get it running again. It has Manual transmission, 4 on the floor.
Compression test came back with good cylinders 160 to 170 on each one, new plugs and wires, new distributor cap, new tires, new front shocks, new Front suspension, new battery & Clutch. It has a New Valve cover gasket and an exhaust manifold, gasket & carburetor with carburetor gaskets. A plethora of parts have been added, receipts come with. Even has a tow hitch for bicycles or cargo platform, not for trailering. 500 max
Bad fuel went through it in August & that was that. All parts that touched gas have been replaced except the fuel pump but I see it works. I’ve been trying to get it running since then, I am not a mechanic. I haven’t found a qualified mechanic among all my many friends.
I know she runs great(80), cause I was driving it in August & enjoying it.
