I Have a 1987 F150 I have owned for about 3 years..it has 170,000 miles . I bought it and it was so nice to drive. 4.9 straight six cylinder with the 4 speed in the floor. After a few months I bought a new alternator. Then replaced the starter new. The inertia switch started kicking off. I would reset the switch and it eventually wouldn't reset ..I replaced it but still no start. I was struggling and replaced some relays . But anyway I got someone to repair it and drove it til the new starter started dragging. I replaced it. Somehow it would start but not run long.. I put a fuel pump on it and I know I was getting close to getting my truck going but my disabled brother.He had parkinson's and brain injuries from beatings he sustained..He walked and carried sticks he made .I was evicted for letting him stay with me. I regret to say we moved to Tennessee after being homeless for 6 months. He was treated like a bad person ending up in jail many times. Finally I got a lawyer to listen and he was proved incompetent.But after moving here on January 16 he took my car and ran out of gas. He called and was supposed to be nearby. Ended up 6 or 7 hours later finding him 35 to 45 mins away. Got gas..He was telling the women at the gas station how beautiful they were. He told all women that . He was good to all. He was behind me and 15 mins later I looked back and he was gone. I turned around and went back . He hit a car and he was pinned in . begging me to get him out. I couldn't . He died 3 days later and a big part of my heart went with him . Anyway that was my only car running. The f150 is in north Carolina. It was broken into after I Moved..The guy next door and his cousin assaulted me when asked what happened to my belongings I left . My alternator,battery,stereo,all my fuses , the oil was drained . I have replaced everything but it is a fuse or switch . I don't know if you are interested but I don't want a lot for it. My number is 828 844 0878. Text please.
