Description:

Do to health reasons I am offering my 1949 Ford F1 for sale. It is a low mileage truck in very, nice mostly original condition. It has been converted to a 12 volt neg ground system with a GM alternator The front part of the cab floor has been replaced and it has a set Torque Thrust mag wheels on it with wheel adaptors. It also has a new duel exhaust system. It has the original wooden bed floor in very good condition, I looks like it was partially repainted many years ago. It is missing the oil bath air cleaner.

It runs and drives very nicely. This truck spent it's entire life in Virginia in one family and only came to Wisconsin in the fall of 2020. Since I got the truck in November of 2020, I have done a few things to it: I replaced the front portion of the cab floor and front cab support brackets and coated the complete floor with rust encapsulor, converted to a 12 volt neg ground electrical system with a GM alternator, and replaced a bad wheel cylinder.

I have acquired a lot of parts for it including a new 12 circuit wiring harness, 12 volt to 6 volt reducer, a set of original wheels, new shocks, sun visors, mirrors, glove box, wiper arms and blades, sound deadener for the floor and a new rubber floor mat, front cab mount bushing kit, tie rod ends and drag link rebuild kit, an electronic ignition conversion kit, oil pan gasket kit, high output ignition coil, new gauge faces, original gas tank, float for fuel gauge sending unit, front parking light lenses, carburetor rebuild kit, spark plugs, thermostats  w/gaskets, door handle springs, and transmission tunnel gaskets.

I do have all the parts to convert it to a T5 overdrive transmission  (except the clutch disk) including the transmission, a set of stainless steel headers, an extra 8BA block and crankshaft. I will include these parts for an additional $1000 over the sale price of the truck.

Truck is being sold as is where is.
