I've got a pair of SBF V8 GT40 3 bar cylinder heads. F3ZE-AA, July 96 date codes. These came out of a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer with the 5.0L. I picked these up from a salvage yard a few years back and they have just been sitting on a shelf in storage since then. I did a quick visual inspection and didn't see any obvious damage or cracks. But they will need a complete tear down, clean up and inspection.
These are a great budget performance head. They are one of the better performing stock production SBF V8 heads. And these don't have the plug wire/header issues like the later GT40P heads do.
I bought these for my Econoline and hate to part with them. But I need the cash so they need to go.
I'm asking $375.00 cash for them If you think I'm asking too much feel free to make a reasonable offer. But if you are going to make a low ball offer don't waste either of our time.
Because of the weight and shipping cost I don't want to deal with shipping these. So local pick up only. I'm located in Lonsdale, Minnesota. Which is about a half hour south the Twin Cities.
