Description:
Interested ina down sized LTD or Marquis Station Wagon. Not the crown vic or grand marquis. Its a 4 yr model when the carb had been initially phased out. Some call it a fox body (grenad-a, fairmont thru SN-95, 1975 - '04) but I just need to replace my tired focus wagon.
It would B great if drivable as I have no trailer. I usually go in 5 - 8 hr shifts so it can B nation wide (Y I post here). Mechanical does not matter but chassy/shell (& may B interior too) in poor - fair condition or better would B nice. I need it as daily driver and am not a body man. I can do any of the mechanicals including drive line, suspension, a lill fab, etc. Earlier model considered but much less desired (Fairmont, Zepher, etc there wuz a granada wagon - prob out of my price range as its rare). I have a customer with an LTD wagon, 86 I think. Has a 5.0 carbureted. In southern california. He hasn't mentioned selling it but you know everything is for sale at the right price and time. If you want I can talk to him about it. PM me
I have had really poor luck ("Ur tryin to scam me. Send me all the money now & I'll send you a title." a $500 loss due to the reverse. Buyin a plane tic just to have the sale out from under me B4 I could get ona flight, etc).

Not alot of hope, trust at this point. The worse is FB Mrkt Place...after 6, 7 yrs @ it I think I will pull out all interest/search posts.
