85' F-250 that was used for a farm truck 95% of its life. In very good mechanical condition but has an expected amount of rust for a Wisconsin truck of this age. The other 5% was used by a person twice a year to launch and retrieve his boat from his personal dock. It has a newer C6 transmission put in by a previous owner and had a tow package put in along with a heavy duty torque converter. The wheels are American Racing 16" Aluminum's with newer Mastercraft tires that are in very good condition. I put a new exhaust system on as the old one rotted out and it's a 2.5" system back to a side exit 3" tip. A long list of other repairs were done such as a new steering box, new injectors, new block fuel pump, new door panels and map pockets, new window seals all the way around besides the vent windows, LED marker lights, LED turn signals and brake lights, all fluids from differentials to transmission including a flush and new filter. Major items include a new radiator and 2 new batteries along with a new starter. There are probably some other things that I am forgetting and will update as I look through the paperwork. The oil was changed every 3000 miles with added heavy duty oil stabilizer. Washed weekly in winter to prevent the spread of rust and the remaining rust was sprayed with rust converter to stop growth. The cab corners despite their rust are structurally solid and haven't disappeared. This truck has dual tanks, both work but the rear tank has a slight leak down the seam. The fuel gauge is the only gauge that doesn't work but that;s because the wires going to the sensors on the tank corroded apart so it is an easy fix.
