I'm selling a Ford 391 crankshaft that came out of a motor that I purchased a few years ago and didn't know the difference between the FE & FT motors. I since rebuilt the block with a standard 390 FE crank, but have this item left over and it has been sitting in a wood crate for a few years now. If I recall correctly, the bearings that came out were 0.020/0.020. Full disclosure, I have not had this crank inspected, but visually appears fine.
If you are interested in buying for a FE, please do your homework and understand there is some machine work that needs to take place for this crank to fit up correctly.
Ideally, you can come pick up in the Bay Area, CA. Between the crank and box I made to ship it, it is quite heavy and will cost a pretty penny to ship. $150 + shipping. I'll lower on price if you can come pick up.
Yep, still have it. Are you local in the SF bay area? I crated it up a few years ago for a guy that flaked after he realized what shipping was going to cost. If you're seriously interested I should crack the lid of the crate to make sure the journals are still looking good. We can continue through email? kent.derek@gmail.com
Derek - Thank you very much. No worries about us flaking out on shipping costs - we have similar items shipped all the time, so I have an idea what we are looking at
We are actually In NJ. I will email you and I am going to CC my boss on this, as he will be handling payment and shipping arrangements. Thanks again!
