Description:
Removed the two front wheel hubs and rotors on 2003 F-250.. to replace with new slotted and drilled rotors. the wheel hubs and rotors on a 2 wd are one piece unit unlike the 4x4 front axles. currently 186K miles on truck and believe these are original from factory units.
the rotors are in good condition.. bearing surfaces are like new, no scuff, scratches etc. never run hot or overheated during braking.
the thickness on new rotors is 38mm on these you have a good 37 mm of thickness with the lower limit set at 36 mm.. so the rotors are like new. the pads have anywhere form 75%life on one pad to 50% life on other pad.
the rotors are NOT warped at any way.. they stop straight, true and with no shimmy in the slight.
You will need new grease seals (18.50 at ford part# BRS-3) and your old bearings is they are in good condition.
