***BAD ENGINE***BAD ENGINE***BAD ENGINE*** Hi, this was my work truck for 3 years, it is an awesome truck! In the last two years or so, I have put a new radiator, new BOSCH HPOP, New vacuum pump, new power steering pump, new fuel pump, new front wheel bearings and races, and new valve cover harnesses. It has always been a very dependable truck, never left me stranded. About 10 months ago, it developed a bad leak under the HPOP, turns out it was the "non serviceable plug" in the lower side of the pump. I pulled the pump and put a new "O" ring on it. Unfortunately, it blew too much oil out. The engine cranks, but has no compression. (Yeah, sick to my stomach!) The truck has NO RUST, has a few dents and dings, and the right rear fender is just the way it was when I got the truck ...BUSTED! Lol. It has ice cold AC, both power windows and dolor locks work, and the ZF5 transmission is fine. Front end is good, as are the brakes. If someone has a good engine, or wants to rebuild this one, the truck will be road ready (after a good bath! Lol) The interior is fair for a 97, instrument bezel is not busted up and the steering column is tight! The truck is all 97 F350 built on a 93 F250 chassis, 97 engine, trans, rearend, dash cluster and of course all the electronics. But it is titled as a 93 F250 (saves on insurance and registration!) The pics were taken when it was clean, it has been sitting about ten months, so it is very dirty now! The truck only hauled a single car trailer the three years that I had it, and the guy before me hardly ever hauled anything besides a boat once in a while. Miles are 367K As far as trades, I like old trucks, and antique vehicles (pre 1972) But I will look at anything that runs and drives with a titled! No motorcycles or boats!
