This was in my 1965 F100 when I bought it a couple years ago, it was behind a 240. I drive the truck daily and put about 5000 miles on the transmission. I pulled it only to go back to the original three on the tree. It shifts fine, I've had no issues with it, but I cannot speak to the history of the transmission outside of the last two years. I did drain the oil before I dropped it per the manual. I cannot speak to the fitment of this transmission for the most part but I'm happy to take measurements if you ask.
One person can lift this and put it in a truck bed or vehicle. I'm happy to do that. Will not deliver
