I am looking for Bell Housing, T18 to a 390 (390, 427, 460). The current Bell Housing is P/N E1TA-7505-AA (I think is a 1973). and the Clutch Fork that goes with it.
No wonder my truck is so screwed up. The truck is a 1981 F350 dually with originally a 5.8 liter engine. It was replaced with a 1984 460 7.5 liter. The transmission is a T18. The bell housing was a E1TA-7505-AA that has been heavily modified. The inside webs were ground down for flywheel clearance and shimmed to get enough clearance for the clutch to work (sort of). I guess I need some serious help on what should be the bell housing, clutch fork, flywheel and clutch pack for a 1984 460, T18 transmission in 1981 F350 dually.
If your truck currently has the internal balance 460 you will need the D7TA,D9TA,or E1TA bell like the 1 you already have but depending what year 460 you have will determine which flywheel you will have to use,if 78 or earlier you will need a 390 flywheel,if 79 or later external balance 460 you will need the 85 and later 460 external balance flywheel which has more standout from the back of the block and may be the source of the needed clearancing from your current setup. If this is the case you may be better off getting the later aluminum hydraulic bellhousing and swapping a later hydraulic pedal assembly into your truck.
Need bell housing for 6.9 International diesel, 1986 F250 4x4 manual 4speed (granny first gear). Mine cracked apart at clutch linkage attachment point.

The short answer is none of the factory bells will work with your combination without switching your clutch pedal assembly to hydraulic, then you can use the 85-up aluminum hydraulic bell housing.A Lakewood scattershield may work but I don't know that for sure.
JT I v'e got some of these bellhousings in the Spokane area but they're the same as you already have and won't work with the flywheel/clutch you have.I may have an aluminum hydraulic bell but you would have to swap your pedal assembly to hydraulic.
