I have enjoyed this truck very much for the past several years. I bought it to tow my boat over Snoqualmie Pass 2x/month, and now that I bought a house, I'm selling the boat and I just don't need a ¾ ton diesel anymore, so I downsized to an F-150. I've maintained and repaired this truck as if I would own it forever, but buying a house was too good of an opportunity to pass up.

'Extreme Duty' 4R100 Transmission (Trans Ends in Auburn) with Billet Triple Clutch Ultra Low Stall Torque Converter
TransEnds addresses these concerns by re-designing the torque converter, re-engineering the valve body accumulation circuitry, modifying the transmission pump and adding a steel support ring to the center support. These upgrades in conjunction with a comprehensive rebuild result in a solid transmission setup to meet the demands of your Ford Truck.
*EXTREME DUTY recommended for trucks with increased engine power, towing or hauling with total GVW 16,000 up and big tire applications. EXTREME Duty series 4R100 and E40D have increased torque capacity with additional clutch plates, recalibrated valve body accumulation for firmer shifts and a TFW Ultra Low Stall Speed Triple Lockup Clutch Billet Torque Converter. The transmission is fitted with a Derale deep oil pan for an additional seven quart oil capacity and increased cooling.
