I bought a parts truck for teh 6.4 engine and am parting out the rest. I have a nice '08 F250 short bed truck with a crew cab. The truck spent its life in Louisiana and I can't find any rust in it. The body is pretty straight with no major dents. I saw a couple of door dings but that's about it.
Asking $2200. for the cab complete minus all components that would stay with frame or engine.
Asking $750 for the bed (short bed) Again, no rust but some damage to top of tailgate. It is repairable. Bed includes bed liner.
Asking $450 for the front clip including fenders, grille, front bumper, hood and all support components.
I have a good shifting 5R110W transmission which is two wheel drive and for a diesel.
I would consider selling the truck as a complete unit minus engine and transmission for $5500.00.
I bought this at a auction for the engine and I did not re title it in my name. If you are interested in the truck as a whole and want to title it I would have to add $1k to the price to cover the cost of sales tax, property tax, and license fees. Kansas isn't cheap on those items.
Vehicle was auctioned because of the ever popular broken exhaust manifold bolt issue. I was on the fence about not parting this truck out as it does drive nice but since I have to remove cab to properly do the exhaust bolt job I might as well leave it off and sell it.
I can be contacted at 913-704-9801.
This truck is in Kansas and near Kansas City. I will ship what I can but the big items will need to be picked up.
I plan to strip the truck the week of 11-15 Feb if possible.
Right now I am not inclined to sell parts off the cab. I would like to keep it as intact as possible for someone that needs everything. I may change my mind in a few weeks if it doesn't sell but not at the moment. Same thing with the front end. I am trying to avoid parting a good whole unit and making the rest un saleable.
Cabs are the same and will bolt up. The dash is different and you would have to change them. I also still have front end so I have everything you need minus the bed.
It depends on how soon you would need it. I have a friend that has family and properties in the panhandle and goes there quite a bit in his motorhome. Maybe we could convince him to take a flatbed trailer and the cab with him on a trip.
Plus, if you did decide to come and get it then you can cross a visit to Kansas off your bucket list.
