Sold my 2013 F150 (with 5.0) and so I'm selling my programmer. For the folks that have a 5.0, I have 4 tunes from 5star. 87 and 91 eco. 91 perf and towperf that I'll throw in for free. After the transaction is complete, I can also send you the files to keep safe on your PC. Excellent shape.
Thanks for the speedy reply. How does the locking / unlocking work? Do i have to pay 5 Star to unlock it or can i just buy a tune, load it on the X4 and tune my truck?
There is no need to unlock this SCT. Before I sold my truck I loaded the stock tune back into the truck so this device is ready to use. I have 3 tunes for the 5.0 but this tuner can be used for other applications also. I’d be willing to email the tunes to you so you’ll have a backup. I’ll give you a tip, like it says on the 5star website, the only tune you’ll really need is the performance tow. It’s by far the best I’ve ever had. You’ll be first off the line at stop lights without even trying. I also gained 2 mpg with this tune.
I’ll give you my guarantee, I’ll give you you’re money back if you’re not satisfied with how it works.
You can buy a tune from any place that sells them. I’ve tried several but the 5star perf tow is hands down the best. You get the tune and load it into the SCT. My three tunes for the 5.0 are on it right now.
I wouldn’t recommend doing eBay. I got one on eBay once and specifically asked if it had been unmarried. They said it was unmarried. Guess what? It was still married. Took me about a month to finally get my money back. Like I said. I guarantee this will work or I’ll give your money back.
