real good runner,was very strong and no knocks,ticks or oil usage.......always started at the click of a key,ran a lil rich at idle because of a bad injector......i am inclined to believe it has been rebuilt,when i changed the leaking valve cover gaskets everything was real clean, and since changing the water pump i had to replace the timing cover because i ended up with a hole in it after the common issue of bolts breaking off and had to literally pry and cut off the old water pump off,I noticed it has a double roller timing chain.......it is currently sitting without the brand new timing cover and water pump on it..they are still in the box...i gave up on it when the bolts broke off deep inside the lower intake holes for the thermostat housing and i drilled to helicoil and a tap broke off deep inside,after i found out they no longer make a stock lower for it and no one had one used that same problem i have with this one and wasn't putting 5-700.00 into a new aftermarket upper and lower intake ......i used the bed for 95 powerstroke i bought recently cheap for a good work truck
