Getting ready to schedule my first appointment with the VA, the new VA hospital in Fredericksburg Virginia is great. I tried registering on the VA website back in September of last year, they were supposed to contact me via email but never heard from them. I call the VA and I was told there was some problems with verifying my military service even though I included my DD214. They told me to download the form and mail it in which I did. Again, I never heard anything for some time, so I called again. This time I was told that they were super busy and it would be better if I went to the local VA hospital. It took me less than 45 minutes, the VA rep was able to look up my application I had submitted online which saved a lot of time.
