my 1985 F600 fuel tank just sprung a leak (35 gallon). I've found a 50 gallon one at a yard and don't know if it will fit. Anyone have experience with this?
This is a saddle tank, mounts on the side of the frame?
Did you measure it?
And compare the measurements to the space available on your truck, including how far out from the frame it will extend? You don't want it hanging out in traffic...
You will need the mounting set up as well.
You might also take the fuel lines up as far as you can.
