40 Panel Project
Here are some pictures of my 40 panel project. 8Ba, .060 over, Max1 cam, Ford 9 inch, T-5 trans. The frame is coming along. Had to do a lot of grinding on the T-5 to get it to fit. The body is going to take a fair amount of patch panels at the lower sections. I got a lot of help with my 51 pickup on the 48-60 forum. I am sure I will have questions for you guys. That's my 39 in back ground.

Very nice looking project you have going there. I've always been partial to panel trucks. I know where there is a '47 panel in a yard that I would love to get my hands on. Please do keep us updated on the progress you make on your truck. And great looking '39 you have there, sounds like quite a stable of great Ford trucks.

Thanks Gary, I am having fun with this project. The frame is coming along fine but the body has more tender spots than I thought. I am going to look at a 41 panel next Sat. that may be a donor. I will post pictures.
