I want to lower my f-250 and I know on certain chevy trucks you can buy a certain year jeep springs to lower them. Is there anything like that with the fords? Can you do this with the twin I beam suspension? Please help
You can use lowered I-Beams (from DJM) in the front and do a front shackle flip in the rear. Shorter front springs will only result in negative camber issues.
instig8r63 - Hey Bobby, I couldn't find an f250 lowering kit (for i-beams). I'm tired and dumb, obviously. Can you post the linky, please.
Thanks!
darrell
Hmm....I looked too. It appears that they make them for F100 but not F250????
Thanks Bobby, I thought I was loosing it. I'm interested to know if anyone has any leads on this -- I'm looking at a 72 F250 right now, and I envision it just a bit lower than it is now...
Do F-100's use the same size kingpins and spindles as F-250's, or are they smaller than an F-250's? If the same, than voila. Then the I-beams would be the same. I wouldn't know as I have not torn the I-beams and spindles apart. It is just a thought.
