motor and tranny ideas
hi all,
new guy here again, my truck is coming along,the lack of any real rust problems have me very happy, but i have decided to pull the straight 6 flatty and put in a more modern engine and trans.from what i'm seeing a mustang front clip will do the braking. but what kind of problems should i expect with motor and tranny alignment?will a 5.0 with a 5 speed be a good choice? should i go automatic?i would prefer a clutch if i can without too much hassell. all comments and prior mistakes would be very welcome...thanks in advance.jimm
