Thumbs up Brakes problems Ford Truck 1940

I have to pump up pressure with the pedal .The pressure keeps close but after some secunds i can tread on the bottom again.
Has vented system several times but to no avail. can not find any leaks.
can it be the master cylinder which is tightly sealed?
Someone who had the same problem

It could be the master cylinder, however if you can pump it up and it maintains pressure for a little while, it's still probably air in the lines somewhere. How are you bleeding the lines? You may have to get a vacuum hand pump to draw the fluid through the lines starting at the longest line and working your way back. (They refer to these as "one man" bleeders.) Sometimes the air bubble will not move much if you are bleeding too slowly.

it's possible that a wheel cyl is sticking or slowly leaking also. is master new, and/or rebuilt? sounds like it's sticking. compensator port could have some crud blocking return flow. you can see this port looking inside master from cap.

It would be my guess that there is a connection leak or a bad cyclinder. I usually agree with Complit1107 but I would think that if it is air in the line then the pedal would be harder than usual and not go to the floor. With being able to get pressure but not maintain pressure, leads me to belive there is an air/ fluid leak somewhere. If you don't have a vacum hand pump try putting speed bleeders on the cyclinders to help bleed brakes.
