Fuel Pressure ?
I think my fuel pump is about to take a crap on me i have 70psi. at idle. My ? is how much should the pressure drop when i smash on it
My truck idle fine drives fine but when i try to hammer on it it's like the fuel can't keep up and fails on it's face but if i let out of it a little bit then she will get up but not like she would a couple months ago

Thats a good question. I want to do the FPR shim and I am also putting a fuel pressure gauge in my truck (You know one of those fancy electric ones) and this is something I would like to know as well. My next big project is electric fuel.

Some say anything above 65 PSI can create performance issues. When measuring fuel pressure is that the peak, average or low on the gauge? And to answer your question it should be, ideally the same .. but with the mechanical fuel pump it never will be.
