How old to have antique plates?

How old to have antique plates?
I am a newbie here but not to ford. I have 2 bump sides, a 2002 Taurus 24 v , and I have had many T-birds, Cougars and Mustangs. What I would like to know is how old a vehicle has to be to qualify for antique Plates. These help with passing emitions ect, and want to know if Alberta has this program, and what do you need to do. I am body swapping a 1970 F100 to the frame of a 1972 F250 HD. Both are weird grill mistakes from factory, and both built in ontario. JS

emissions? we don't have that here. an antique plate: Permits licensing of vehicles at least 25 years old and only operated as a collector’s item in exhibitions, club activities, parades and transportation to and from these activities. (from the government web site)
