Hi each,
I'm in UK & am a newbie on this Forum ..
I'm restoring a recently imported '63 F600 Ramp Truck with a 292 Y-block V8, 4 speed manual box, & 2 speed rear end on a twin wheel axle ..
I'm looking for the following parts to rebuild the braking system & a new Chrome front bumper ..
1. 2x R/H Rear brake cylinders
2. 2x L/H Rear brake cylinders
3. 1x R/H Front brake cylinder
4. 1x L/H Front brake cylinder
5. All screw in unions to suit all brake cylinders, (I'll make up the pipes here)
6. Chrome Front Bumper for same
Please adv who I can contact to source parts for this beast .. There seems to be oodles of suppliers for F-1s and F-100s but nothing for the big Fs ..
Welcome aboard from across the pond; sorry I can't help ya with the big boy; but there's others who can; try doing a forum search about F600's etc.
You'll never know what you'll come across.
Welcome to FTE...its the best source for all of your Ford truck questions.
As to the brake parts...If you can post the door tag(warranty plate) codes as there may be some differences for them depending on the axles used front and rear. Let me know and I can dig up the part numbers for you and see what there is around.

Cheers for this .. I'll get them for you tomorrow & send them over ..
I'd refer you to Flashback F100's - Home for a source. Not sure on the brake stuff but you never know. I suspect NumberDummy on here will get you the Ford part numbers once you post the plate info. Tom at Flashback actually has a similar truck he uses to haul with.
Big trucks don't get the love they should. I think a lot of it has to do with the space they take up; the average guy can't fit one in his garage.
Many thanks for this .. I'll try the source you mention .. I know from previous posts that NumberDummy is unwell so should not be troubled .. CS65 has offered his services in the same role, which I will be sorting out today ..
The venerable NumberDummy seems to be a well loved legend on this site & I wish him a swift recovery ..
Cheers
Paul
Welcome! I hope you are able to find those big truck parts soon. Are there any junkyards you can scrounge through over there?
Nah, no such luck .. I don't think these were ever Imported to this country .. In fact, & I stand to be corrected when I say this, I don't know of another one of this vintage, in this country .. If there are any more here please get in touch ..
Thanks for the welcome .. I'm probably gonna be pestering you all to death with questions ,so apologies upfront ..
Cheers
Paul
