How hard is it to replace the driver's side door glass?

How hard is it to replace the driver's side door glass?
I just bought a 2002 regular cab in February and the driver's door glass has some deep scratches. Is this the kind of job I can do myself or is it smart to just let a glass shop do the work?

dont know about your truck but it takes maybe an hour on my 94. As advised check the R&R costs but in reality its not a big deal. I put electric windows in mine and the hardest part was the wiring.
