New Project, a step out of my comfort zone
Im a roll over from the '60s forum.
I have a couple of questions about 1932 fords (I was approached by someone offering to sell one for cheap).
First is there a way to see if the body, motor and chassis are authentic, are there serial numbers i can look for? This 1932 is a 3 window coupe.
Second does anyone know what the overall footprint of a stock one of these is? I need to see if i have enough room to park it

The 32's all road on the same frames. Much of the time the front section of the frame rails will show repair. That might be a clue. Also they came with Model B four cyl and flathead v-8's. What does the rear end look like? Modern or early?

i wont be able to see the car till monday at the earliest. i dont know much about these cars so any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Im on a really tight budget (im a student so i dont have much cash flow) so the price will be the deciding factor cuz my DD needs a motor rebuild

well from what i know its an all orignal 3 window w/ the original v8 (so ive been told) thats been sitting in a barn for years. The car is being shipped to a friend of a friend from minnesota, and it was driven to where the truck was so it does run. and it only has something like 15,000 miles. But i have not been able to see a pic of it yet but ill be going to see it next week so i have my fingers crossed.
