you have a 5.4 so it's a 9.75 rear end however just to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside crawl under your truck look at the rear end if it looks like an squared circle( a square with rounded corners) then it's an 8.8 however your rear end will be curved on the driver side and have two angled lines going into a veritical line, now thhat you are confused read the tag that is on one of the bolts it says 9.75 it will also say 3L55 for your ratio
