I took my 2006 in for service and as I was walking the showromm, the manager told me that they would be $10,000 more than they are now, he doesn't think that he will sell many.
I'd be asking him where he heard that from because they supposedly haven't released pricing yet and won't until closer to the release date. No offense, but I hope he's wrong.
I am sure he doesn't know, but even if it is... bargain! BMW, Mercedes etc charge $15k-$20k to go up from a 3L 6 to a 4.2-4.4L V8 in a regular car! But I am hoping it will be more like $5k-7k.

Whenever I ask my dealer about new stuff coming out they say what new stuff and tell me the public always hear about stuff before they do, Just have to wait and see.
Yeah, right, How in the heck is Ford going to sell $60-70K Pickup Trucks? They're already pushing it pretty hard with the $50K units
Aint gonna happen in these times.
That's what I was thinking. If you penciled it out, it would probably be a lot cheaper in the long run to just get a gas engine. 17k is a lot of fuel and parts for a gas truck.

Holy CR@P!
Paying $10k more than an equal equipt 6.4L PSD is outrages! I was figuring the price would jump about 2.5k or 3k. But for the 6.7L PSD and 6 spd 6R140 Auto...that 3k would be worth every penny...IMO!
all I can say is that even if they were less than the 6.4 I have a real problem buying a $50 plus thousand dollar truck, and I am in the construction buisness (which sucks right now). I bought mine used and love it. For the heck of it,me and the wife were looking at them,HOLY CRAP! none less than $40 thou, I just cant do it.
