I have a 95 f250 w/ a 351 and an auto tranny which i assume is a e4od. I use the truck to plow snow and haul a gooseneck trailer. I have faith that the 351 is capable but the tranny is the second one and feels like this one is starting to lack. Is there some type of upgrade or an other tranny that can be swapped.(I'm not against a manual tranny if that is an option) Hopin' for help
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Feb-02 AT 12:30 PM (EST)]same situaltion here... first tranny 146k miles and just lifted with 35"x16wide" tires and she really shows how worn out it is. driving in OD the light blinks, been driving with OD off and all seems ok in cool weather, but one warm day it did a couple nuetral drops at a stop light.. how fun
there is a thread here i just replied to about swapping for a manual.. im curious also.
