92 Explorer M5OD tranny jumping out of gear
Recently, my manual 5 speed trans in my 92 Explorer won't stay in 5th. All other gears are fine. Is there an external adjustment? Is this common? Any tips?

I have had the same problem in my 93. I was told that there is a linkage internally to the transmission that is either broken or disconnected. Either way the tranny has to be dropped to repair. Luckly I dont have to drive it more than a few miles a day on a regular basis.
