Adjust 3 speed trans, 75 F100 360
All,
What is the easiest way to adjust the shifter? I have a 75 F100, 390 that came with a 3 speed on the column that was changed to a 3 speed on the floor. Is the way to adjust it to find that Adjustment Alignment hole and stick a pin through there, then tighten up all the linkages? Any help is appreciated, my truck is stuck in 3rd right now, but luckily its in front of my house :-) I plane on going to fix it tomorrow morning.

I am the original owner of a 77 E150 van with 3 on the tree, that I want to convert to a 5sp OD trans, or at least change the linkage to a floor shift.
