If you want to remove the whole column, box and steering wheel you can do it with a little work. Disconnect the horn wire from the bottom, remove the drag link from the pitman arm, or just remove the pitman arm fromthe box, undo the 3 bolts holding the box to the frame. Then inside the cab remove the ignition wiring from behind the column drop and remove the 2 bolts holding the support to the bottom of the dash. After that you can kind of wiggle the box and all out of the cab. You can always remove the wheel first to give a little bit more room to work with.
Now if you are trying to get the column out with out remove the box, then that is very tough, there is not really any room to do that, the whole thing, box and all is removed all together
