AC Compressor froze - Now Car won't start

AC Compressor froze - Now Car won't start
A few days ago my AC Compressor froze while I was stopped. I fixed it and tried to start the car to no avail. The car will turn over but doesn't even come close to firing, any ideas ? This is a 5.4 2000 Expedition.

I don't see how a compressor locking up could affect the truck not starting, that said I would start by checking fuel pressure to see if you have a possible fuel pump issue, if you have fuel pressure on the fuel rail then move on and check to see if there is spark.
When your compressor froze did the belt fry and brake if so make sure wiring and connectors are all OK due to a possible belt wiping around.

In case it comes up with anybody else, It turns out that when I took the AC compressor off I inadvertantly also unplugged the wire to the Crankshaft sensor. I plugged it back in and it started right away. Thanks for such a great forum...
