Opinions on a price please!!!
I am new to these ranger forums so the help is greatly apreceated! Theres a truck that the bank might be selling its a celled bid type thing and i want your advice on a price. Its a green 2001 ranger xlt supercab 2 door 116,441 miles cd player (factory), sliding rear window, tilt, crusse, needs a new arm rest counsle bettween the bucket seats, the interiors ok but pretty dirty, it has been in a accedent and will need a new right fender, bumper, and right headlight luckely i can do the work myself. Thanks for the help. Any major problems with these trucks whats the best mileage what engines the best?

Go to kbb.com and fill in the blanks. You can get private and dealer retail prices. You have to subtract for everything that needs to be repaired. A sealed bid lets you offer what you think it is worth, TO YOU. Make an offer that you think would be a bargain price, but not quite stealing. If you win with your bid, you got a bargain. If not, then someone else got what they think is a bargain. The bank just hopes for the best.
I always subtract retail repair costs when estimating the value of any prospective purchase. That is what a retail purchaser would have to pay, unless they had the skills and time to effect the repair them self.
