Just wanted to let everyone on this forum know about the group buy that has been started with Troyer Performance. I had started this with f-150 online forum, but Mike Troyer was willing to extend this to members of either forum.
It seems that Mike has been meaning to adjust the price for the efan kit for the past while now since they have the new relays in the kits and mounting brackets, but would give us a group deal yet.
The offer is $389+Shipping for the efan kit (otherwise $429). He would need at least 8 people to come in to do this. So starting April 15 to May 15 anyone that wants this kit can call in and get in on this buy. Just have to say you are part of the forum and want to get in on the group buy for the F-150 efan. The orders will be held till we get 8 people on board.
I did ask if they would be able to go down lower if we could get more commitments, but he said this is the best they can do, especially since they want to bring the price up on them.
I also asked about the underdirive pulleys, and he said he would be able to do combined price of $599+shipping for the both of them. The pulleys include the shorter belt that is needed. So $260 value for $210. So would save $90 all together. Don't have to get the pulleys to get this deal, but it is an option.
i find this very interesting.... since i just emailed Troyer about a month or so ago to see if they would do a group buy, and i was basically told no way in hell. so, i fgured i would rather give my money to a different company.
i cannot see how they will sell any if they raise their price even more. 429 is overpriced as it is. im ordering stuff piece by piece, and will be into it for around 250 total. who cares what their kits "look" like.... afterall, ive never seen a truck driving with their hood open. im the only one that looks inside mine !!!
