41 1/2ton pickup, saggy front spring
Hi,
looks like my front buggy spring is getting tired, I noticed a strange stance of my car, the rear back appeared to be higher on the right side, closer inspection revealed that the left end of the front buggy spring has lost its strengt and the main leaf is bendet upwards about 15 deg.
Seems that replacement is needet, I am considering replacing the whole spring assembly ( not just the main leaf). The replacement spring should have the same characteristics than the stock one (not lowered or returned eyes). As far as I know Bob Drake, D.Carpenter and MAC can supply replacement.
Has anyone done this on his truck and can recommend a particular supplier (quality / price)??
As the main leaf does not appear to have any cracks, is there an imminent danger of breaking i.e can I still use the truck until I have the replacement spring or should I avoid driving around??
Please advise.

www.kanter.com is a good source for suspension parts. As far as a safety concern, if you want to drive it, just take it easy on the turns and the bumps.
