What's My Rear End

I bought this at a swap meet because the guy said it was a 3.73 8.8 rear end from a T-bird. I was leaving and had not purchased anything yet. You know how it is ...... ya gotta leave with something. Anyway I doubt the t-bird thing and I think its a 4wd application - but what? I checked the ratio and it is 3.73. The pinion has 373 F67AA stamped on it, which makes me think its a 96-up model. The one side has an flange mount with a cavity that has some type of shifting fork in it. What is this? Excuse the quality of the pics.....not enough light for my $20 digital.

What's My Rear End

You've got the front diff out of a 1997 and up F150 missing the right axle tube. The T-Bird diff is simliar but doesn't have a bolt on tube like the one you got should have.
