Discoloration in fuel bowl
I noticed some discoloration in my fuel bowl while changing my filter. Its color reminded me of surface rust. The fuel was clear with no sediment. Just seemed odd. My OBS truck didn't look like that.

The fuel bowl acts as a water seperator also and maybe you had a small amount of water in there, drain your seperator(fuel bowl) a little more often i would think. I had a slight rusty tint on what looked like a lever in there, i cleaned it up and installed the new filter. Only noticed it this last filter change.
