fog lights
which one do i have,one place says i have 9145 and the other says 9007.

I believe that the 9007 is the headlight replacement #

I think the 9145 is the OEM fog light at 45 watt (?) and the 9005 will fit which is a high beam watt type lame of 55 or 60 watt.

Yep, 9145 is stock replacement....9005 fits but is more wattage.

so the fog lights will be brighter if you put the 9005 in? is that right?

Get the Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 9005 for replacement, you'll love 'em!
Get the same for headlamps, I think they are 9007.

Can I upgrade my fog bulbs to the 9005 and not have to upgrade the wiring?

I have been running the 9005 Silverstars Ultra in the fog lights for about 2 years without any problems. Everytime I need the headlights, I turn on the fog lights.

I've been running the Silerstar 9005 in the fogs since they came out with no problems, make sure you do the fog light mod as well to keep them on while the high beams are on!
