Now that my '99 f-150 4x4 is broken in (50k), I am ready to improve its performance and economy. This forum looks to be a great resource for things that work and more importantly, things that don't. The truck is a daily driver and pulls a boat on occasion. The 4x4 is used for snow and pulling a boat up slippery ramps at low tide, no off-road at this time. I anticipate that intake, exhaust, and tuning will be the main items of interest.
Hi and welcome Coopman, since you`ve found you way around the FTE forum your set for answers.

I am a new member from Salem Oregon. I have owned two 7.3 PSD's, a 97 and a 2002. Just yesterday I traded in my 2002 PSD for a new 2008, 6.4, Lariat, CC, short box. I was going to keep the 2002 for a long time, but the desire for a crew cab, the large discounts, and a great dealer who really stepped up for my 2002 trade-in, helped me take the plunge on a 6.4 Hope I don't regret it!
I drive my Peterbilt for $$$$$, and my Ford for fun. I gained a lot of insight on the 6.4 by reading on this website in the last 2 weeks. I also received a very prompt response on my request for an OASIS report from this site. For whoever provides those, Thank you very much. If I can ever return a favor let me know.
Welcome aboard PSDx3.
Congrats on the 2008 Lariat, it should be an awesome truck!
Be sure you do drop into the OR chapter soon, post you intro in there too.
